Un projet collaboratif tridimensionnel donnant naissance à l’album I Mean Alarmed (ORG Music / Sélection officielle Record Store Day 2021) avec la participation de vingt-quatre musiciens originaires de Toulon (France) et San Pedro (Californie), dont ses initiateurs : Hifiklub et Mike Watt.

Un jumelage factice qui se déploie également sous la forme d’une édition (textes de Luc Benito, Maxime Delcourt, Craig Ibarra) relatant les histoires des scènes musicales de ces deux territoires et de l’exposition de Jean-Loup Faurat The Toulon – Pedro Connect, présentée à la Galerie l’Axolotl (Toulon) du 22 mai au 19 juin 2021.

Un évènement qui rassemble au final près d’une centaine d’invités : musiciens, photographes, auteurs, traducteurs, techniciens et même un brasseur… La Bière de la Rade réalisant spécialement pour la clôture de l’exposition une édition limitée The Toulon – Pedro Connect.
